Drunk Driving Fatalities

The fatal crash occurred along NE Sandy Boulevard in Portland ( Portland Police Bureau , 2024). A vehicle driven by a 30-year-old man collided head-on with another car, killing the 48-year-old female driver.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:30PM on January 15, 2024 along Alexandria Pike near its intersection with Taylor Avenue ( Southgate Police Department , 2024). According to witnesses, a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup driven by a 24-year-old local man veered off the west side of the roadway

On the night of February 15, 2024 in Hampton Bays, a sedan veered off Shore Road, struck several trees and overturned, injuring the 21-year-old male driver ( Suffolk County Police Department , 2024). The driver was charged with DUI.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 AM on October 15, 2023 , when a silver Toyota Corolla sedan drove directly into the front entrance of the CHP facility located at 955 Main Street (CHP, 2023).

On the night of September 1st, 2023 in Newton , a motorist's sport utility vehicle (SUV) veered off the road and overturned in a ditch. The 45-year-old driver was charged with drunk driving (DWI) and assault by auto due to the crash risks ( Newton Police Department , 2023).

The incident occurred at approximately 11:30PM on July 10th, 2023 at the intersection of Manchester Boulevard and Inglewood Avenue ( Inglewood Police Department , 2023).
