Santa Rosa County woman who fled fatal DUI sentencing arrested in Illinois



GULF BREEZE, Fla. -- A woman who fled her sentencing for a fatal DUI crash in Santa Rosa County was arrested Friday morning in Illinois.The crash happened in September 2019. Roxanne Hornsby eventually pleaded guilty to her charges of Vehicular Homicide and DUI.

Authorities in Santa Rosa County alerted the public in October that they were looking for Hornsby after she failed to show up for sentencing and cut off her GPS monitoring system.
Gulf Breeze Police told Channel 3 that Hornsby cut off her GPS a week prior to fleeing her sentencing.
