Youth In Action
MADD’s Youth In Action program is designed to prevent underage drinking by reducing the social and retail availability of alcohol for youth under the age of 21 and by supporting the enforcement of underage drinking laws. Youth In Action partners high school students with law enforcement, educates adults in the community, and targets alcohol sales to minors. By reducing the access of alcohol to those under 21, this program aims to reduce the amount of youth engaging in underage drinking.

Akron police: Speed appeared to be factor in crash that killed 4
AKRON — Police say speed appeared to be a factor in a car crash in Ohio that killed all four people in the vehicle.
Akron police say the car must have been traveling at an excessive speed Monday when it went off the road and crashed into a retaining wall and a light pole before bursting into flame. Police say the speed limit on that stretch of road was 25 mph.
The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office said Tuesday that two of those killed in the crash were 29-year-old Colleen Wood, of Akron, and 29-year-old Alex Lester, of Ravenna. Two men who also were killed haven't been identified.
